After Medina's Chyna Phillips hit a 2nd quarter buzzer beater shot to tie the game at 22 at the break and then Harper's Payton Reid hit a 3rd quarter 3 point buzzer beater shot to tie the game at 36 set up a wild 4th quarter. Harper's Reid finished the night with 17 points while Whittley Whitwood lead Medina with 9 points. You will love this back and fourth game. Listen to the Game.

LEAKEY EAGLES VS. HARPER LONGHORNSLISTEN TO THE GAME

Roger Perkins had 15 first half points as the Harper Longhorns built a 44-21 halftime lead. However, the young Leakey Eagles battled evenly with the talented Longhorns in the second half as Harper defeated Leakey 73-54. Leakey's Freshman Hudson Springer finished the night with 21 points as Harper's Josh Sagraves lead all scorers with 25 points.

Sophomore Matthew Edgar scored a game high 20 points and 10 rebounds as the Florence Buffaloes defeated the Ingram Warriors 56-34. Senior Joey Albor scored 11 points for the Warriors. In a close game thru the first half it came down to a huge 3rd quarter for the Buffaloes. Game not yet available.

Georgetown Gateway Azarias Tirado and Mason L'Esperance scored 16 pts. each as the Gators came from behind to beat the Ingram Warriors 52-49. The Warriors, lead by Nathan Gelsone (12 pts.) and Joey Albor (13 pts.), battled from 15 points down to take a 34-31 lead after 3 quarters of play.

After Georgetown Gateway built a 14 point lead Comfort got within 3 late in the game. Gateway Gator Dylan Jordan came off the bench and had a Game high 11 points while Azarias Tirado had 10 points. Goodrich Senior Kristian James had a game high 23 points as the # 12 Lady Hornets defeated the Medina Lady Cats 43-27 in the 2nd round of the Class 1A State Playoffs. Medina Senior Whitley Whitewood scored 13 points for the Lady Cats. Medina was trailing by 16 in the 3rd quarter when Senior Ashley Montague and Whitewood caught fire cutting Goodrich's lead to 7. But James and Deandra Taylor (13 points) shut down any hope late in the 3rd and 4th quarter to end any threat. Medina Lady Cats never quit and played a tough game. Listen to the Game.
