Center Point Pirate Ty Carnes scored a Game High 31 Points and grabbed 7 Rebounds as the Pirates beat the Utopia Buffaloes 60-47. Utopia Buffaloes scored a Team High in the loss. The Buffaloes battled back several times from 14 down to cut the Pirates lead to 4 and 6, but the Pirate defense created offensive plays to surpass the surging Buffalo attack. Listen to the Game.

Garrison Wood scored a Game High 19 Points as the Johnson City Eagles came from behind on the road to defeat the Ingram Warriors at the Tee Pee 57-48. Elijah Dubois and Riley McGee scored 13 Points each for the Warriors. The defending District Champion Eagles took their first lead late in the 2nd period and never looked back. The Warriors did cut a 16 point lead to 4 late in the 4th.

Our Lady of the Hills James Westfall scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds as the Hawks overcame a late strong surge to defeat the Fredericksburg Heritage Eagles 46-34. Dylan Roberts finished the night with 11 points for the Eagles. The Eagles cut an 18 point lead to 4 late in the 3rd quarter, but making free throws late in the 4th helped the Hawks.

After 9 ties and 5 lead changes thru out this District Opener and rivalry game between Harper LadyHorns and the Center Point Lady Pirates came down to Lady Pirate Adrianna Carlos buzzer beater shot at the end of regulation play that tied the Harper LadyHorns at 36. Lady Horn Keely Marshal made a go ahead bucket to give Harper the lead with 10 seconds left in overtime, but Center Point's Makenzie Lyon scored the game winning buzzer beater basket to give the Lady Pirates the win.

The Rocksprings Angoras got another win in District Play by defeating the Medina Bobcats 43-39. Rocksprings Geronomo Silva scored a game high 21 points in the Angora win. The Bobcats lead early on in the game but after an 8-0 run in the 2nd quarter by the Angoras and with the lead never looked back, except when the Bobcats went on a 9-2 run late in the 4th quarter to cut the lead to 2. Late free throws by Rocksprings sealed the game. Brady Clark and Gerardo Gonzalez had 11 points each for Medina.

This game was NOT just about a District game between the Comfort Bobcats and the Ingram Warriors, this was a RIVALRY Game. In a battle of who wanted the win more, both sides built a 9 point lead during the game. Two late 4th quarter 3's and 2 free throws all by Ingram's Elijah Dubois put the final stitch in a 67-59 win by the Warriors at the TeePee in Ingram. Comfort Bobcat Danny Carlos lead all scores with 21 points.

Eli Oosterbahn scored a game high 21 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and had 3 blocked shots as he lead the Fredericksburg Heritage Eagles to a 45-39 Game of the Week thriller win. Oosterbahn made key free throws down the stretch to seal the deal. Dylan Roberts added 9 points for the Eagles. Bracken Warrior Christian Deleon scored 17 points and grabbed 8 boards while Hunter Stirm had 9 points and 4 steals in the loss.

Comfort Bobcat Danny Carlos scored a Game High 22 points and had 6 assist as the Comforts Bobcats defeated the Johnson City Eagles 74-58. Johnson City built an early 10 point lead but the Bobcats used a strong 22 point 3rd quarter to take a 5 point lead into halftime and never looked back. Johnson City Eagle Garrison Wood scored 18 points in the loss.

Center Point's Tyler Bryant scored 17 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 2 blocked shots as the Pirates defeated the Harper Longhorns 36-26. With the win, the Center Point Pirates are your District 27-2A Champions. The last time the Pirates were the District Champs was in the 2004-05 Season. Pirate Ty Carnes had a double double finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Our Lady of the Hills road to repeat as TAPPS Division 3A Champions started with Our Lady of the Hills James Westfall scoring a career high 43 points and had 7 assist as the OLH Hawks defeated the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders in the first round of the TAPPS Division 3A Playoffs 106-66. OLH Travis Reeh also scored 25 points in the win.Round Rock Christian Academy Chase Moody scored a Team high 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the loss.

Marion Bulldog Zach Goodwin scored 14 points and 9 rebounds as the Marion Bulldogs beat the Comfort Bobcats 64-45 in the Area State Playoffs. Bulldog Jackson Alan also poured in 14 points in the win. Comfort Bobcat Danny Carlos scored 15 points, 5 assist and 6 rebounds and Josh Barraza scored 14 points in the loss. It was the Comfort Bobcats first Area State Playoff Game in 10 years.
